ICSC Photo Requirements and Submission Instructions



ICSC-issued color photo badges are now required for access to many ICSC events. And all ICSC members must submit a color photo to be included with their permanent membership records. Once a photo is on file with ICSC, you will not have to submit another. It can be used again for future ICSC events.

Photo Requirements:
  • Photo must be in color, featuring a frontal view of head and shoulders, similar to a passport photo
  • Photo must use a light or neutral background and showing very little of the background above and on either side of the head (See examples below)
                                         
  • No family members, friends, pets or other subjects allowed
  • No hats, sunglasses or accessories that obscure your face
  • Photo must be digital in JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg) format, no photo prints allowed
  • Photos should also have a width to height ratio of approximately 3:4. In other words, a photo that is 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) wide should be approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) high. The easiest way to obtain this ratio is to hold the camera vertically rather than horizontally.
  • Photos from cell phones are not acceptable. Photos with irregular and/or inappropriate backgrounds and not meeting the format requirements above may be rejected.
How to Submit a Photo:
There are two ways to submit a photo:

1. Add a photo to, or update your permanent member profile. Log in to the ICSC web site. You will need your ICSC member ID and web site password. Then click on My Profile on the top of the home page, next to your name. Then follow the instructions. If you cannot remember your web site password, contact ICSC member services at +1 646 728 3800.

2. Send a photo in an email to memberphotos@icsc.org. See the photo requirements above. Make sure you include your name, company name and, if known, your ICSC member ID in the body of the email.

Do not mail photo prints to the address below! Photos must be in digital JPEG format.


If you have twenty (20) or more staff photos to submit, please burn them onto a CD and mail it to ICSC at the following address:

Make sure to label the CD with your company name and include your contact information. The photo file names should be "lastname_firstname.jpg" (that is last name and underscore and first name.jpg with no spaces).
