Newport Beach, Calif.-based Irvine Co. appointed Louis Raymond as general counsel and vice president of the retail division. Raymond was executive counsel at The Walt Disney Co. • Phoenix-based De Rito Partners Development named Tom Gast president and partner of De Rito Partners West. He will be based at the company’s new California office. Gast was senior vice president of Ralphs Grocery Co., part of Kroger Co. • El Segundo, Calif.-based CB Richard Ellis promoted Bill Moss to senior managing director for the state of Florida. Moss, who has been with the firm since 1978, will be based in Orlando. • Atlanta-based Windsor Realty Group named Steven Olson senior real estate consultant. He was vice president of Kansas City, Mo.-based H&R Block Mortgage. • Stanton Partners, a Norfolk, Va.-based commercial real estate developer, promoted Teresa Peters to president, from senior vice president. • New York City-based AnnTaylor Stores Corp. hired George (Buck) Sappenfield as senior vice president of real estate and construction. He was a real estate consultant with Sacramento, Calif.-based Asset Strategies Group. • Houston-based Stage Stores appointed Alan Barocas to its board. He is principal of Atlanta-based Alan J. Barocas & Associates, a real estate strategy consulting firm. • Memphis, Tenn.-based Poag & McEwen Lifestyle Centers appointed Chris Koslow vice president of legal affairs. Koslow worked for Simon Property Group for 18 years, most recently as divisional counsel negotiating leases for centers that included Mall of America. • Michael Haines joined Irvine, Calif.-based Hopkins Real Estate Group as CFO. Haines was vice president of finance at Pan Pacific Retail Properties, now owned by Kimco Realty. • Vanessa Castagna vacated her post as executive chairwoman at Mervyns after helping to turn the retailer around. Castagna joined Mervyns two years ago, having led a similar turnaround at JCPenney. • Jim Fuson is now senior general manager at General Growth Properties’ Galleria at Tyler, Riverside, Calif. Fuson was general manager of General Growth’s Moreno Valley Mall in Moreno Valley, Calif., and before that, assistant general manager of Galleria at Tyler. • Northbrook, Ill.-based Next Realty promoted Tracey Harnisch to director of leasing. Harnisch was a project manager for the company’s Midwest brokerage division. • New York City-based Cushman & Wakefield appointed Thomas MacManus executive vice president of the capital markets group and debt and equity finance. He was president of Horsham, Pa.-based GMAC Commercial Mortgage. • Mark Renner joined Naperville, Ill.-based OfficeMax as Northeast real estate manager. He was development manager at Strategic Retail Advisors in Framingham, Mass. • Great Neck, N.Y.-based Feldman Mall Properties announced that Wayne Snyder has stepped down as executive vice president. At press time no replacement had been announced. • Sacramento, Calif.-based Panattoni Development promoted Gary Muljat to partner in the retail division. Muljat was director of retail in the company’s Northern California office. • David Yoblick has been named general manager of CocoWalk, an outdoor lifestyle center in Coconut Grove, Fla. Yoblick was president of property management at Coral Gables, Fla.-based Colliers Abood Wood-Fay. • The TJX Cos. named Carol Meyrowitz CEO. She will remain president and continue to sit on the board. Bernard Cammarata, who was acting CEO, will remain chairman of the board.
