Robert K. Futterman & Associates promoted Robert Draizen to managing director, from senior director. CBL & Associates Properties, Chattanooga, Tenn., promoted Victoria S. Berghel to senior vice president and general counsel and Mark D. Mancuso to senior vice president of community center development. The company also named Tom Funari general manager of Gulf Coast Town Center, Naples, Fla. He was general manager of CoolSprings Galleria, Nashville, Tenn. Alan Ferguson joined Weingarten Realty Investors, Houston, as vice president and regional director of leasing. He was a vice president of leasing at New York City-based New Plan Excel. The Macerich Co., Santa Monica, Calif., hired Melanie Balfour Heywood, as senior vice president of development. She was director of entertainment and retail at the Santa Monica office of Gensler Architecture. The company also promoted Josh Hendricks to manager of Towne Mall, Elizabethtown, Ky., and recruited Victoria Trimble as marketing manager at Westside Pavilion, in Los Angeles, and Santa Monica (Calif.) Place. She worked for ING Direct, Los Angeles. O&S Holdings, Santa Monica, Calif., recruited Naumann Idrees to be senior vice president of leasing. He was vice president of real estate and store development for G+G Retail, New York City. Conchita Arceo Malaqui was named general manager of retail properties for Outrigger Enterprises’ Waikiki Beach Walk, a retail redevelopment project in Waikiki, Hawaii, that is set to open Nov. 1. Malaqui was assistant general manager at the Waikele Premium Outlets, Waipahu, Hawaii. The Wet Seal, Foothill Ranch, Calif., named Gregory S. Gemette president of Arden B. Merchandise. He was senior vice president, merchandise and chief merchandising officer at G&G Retail. American Eagle Outfitters, Warrendale, Pa., expanded the job functions of Joe Kerin, executive vice president of store operations, who will add real estate and construction to his responsibilities. These areas had been the responsibility of Dennis Parodi, who has been appointed executive vice president-COO of the retailer’s New York City design center. San Francisco-based Restoration Hardware hired Chris Newman as CFO and senior vice president. He was vice president and CFO of store operations at Columbus, Ohio-based Limited Brands. Robert Miller, former CEO of The Kroger Co., Cincinnati, is now CEO of Albertsons, Boise, Idaho. Pearl River, N.Y.-based Katz & Associates named David Emihovich director of real estate for the Southern region. He worked at Continental Real Estate Properties, Miami. Alamo, Calif.-based Transcan Development promoted Jeff Adams to executive vice president of development. Adams was the director of projects. CB Richard Ellis made Patrick Done, who was president of Olympia Development Corp., Virginia Beach, Va., director for retail services within its global gaming group, in Las Vegas. Grubb & Ellis-Paramount named Robert W. Elliott III COO. Elliott was an organizational consultant for Leadership Capital Group, Grand Rapids, Mich. Jodi K. Milks also joined Grubb & Ellis-Paramount, as managing director of its southwest Michigan practice. Oakland, Calif.-based Avila Design promoted Jeffrey A. Schmierer and Yick K. Chan to senior associate. Avila also recruited Alex Albani as a designer, specializing in retail projects. The Stamford (Conn.) Downtown Special Services District named Jacqueline Wetenhall director of retail development. Wetenhall was at Round Hill Partners, a Greenwich, Conn.-based brokerage firm. Sexy Hair Concepts appointed Jim Morrison CEO. He was president of the combined organizations of Redken, L’Oréal, L’Oréal LTP, Matrix, Logics and Kerastase. Commercial Net Lease Realty, Orlando, Fla., named G. Nicholas Beckwith III to its board of directors. Beckwith was CEO and chairman of Arch Street Management, a Monroeville, Pa., holding company. James E. Reilly joined Staubach Retail as vice president of the Northeast region. He will focus on retail tenant representation. He was vice president and director of retail at Corporate Realty Solutions, Bala Cynwyd, Pa. Mark Kagan returned to San Diego-based GVA IPC as vice president. He was at ICG Communications, Golden, Colo. Hirschel, Savitz, Parker & Hollman, based in Gaithersburg, Md., appointed Christine Levonian Gresham, Heather Mays France and Daniel A. Rudolph principals. Jonathan Weller retired from Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, where he was vice chairman and served on the board of trustees. Richard H. Warren, co-founder of Lyons Warren, retired from the San Diego-based engineering and architectural design firm. Charles N. Huggins, president and CEO of San Francisco-based See’s Candies, retired in January. Huggins joined the company in 1951 as an administrative assistant trainee. Brad Kinstler, the company’s executive vice president, succeeds him. Harlan Noddle, chairman and founder of Noddle Cos., died in December, following a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 69. Omaha, Neb.-based Noddle Cos. has become one of the largest developers of community shopping centers and office buildings since the company opened its first retail project in 1973. The Philadelphia-based spg3, an architectural, planning and interior design firm, promoted Frank Russo, Colleen O’Brien Etskovitz and Ted Yuhas to associate. They were all staff members. The firm also hired Edwin Baimpwi and Kevin M. Towey as staff members. Electronics retailer Best Buy, Minneapolis, promoted Brian J. Dunn to president and COO. Dunn was president of retail, overseeing the North American business. The company also promoted Robert A. Willett to CEO of Best Buy International. Willett, who joined Best Buy in 2004, was executive vice president. Morton’s Restaurant Group, New Hyde Park, N.Y., named Thomas J. Baldwin chairman, president and CEO. Baldwin was executive vice president and CFO. Tampa, Fla.-based Outback Steakhouse named Dennis Prescott president of its Cheeseburger in Paradise concept. Prescott was vice president of operations for the Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurants. Josh Chambers joined Houston-based Harbor Capital Group as vice president of loan production. Dallas-based Trammell Crow created the position of executive vice president and director of brokerage services and hired Kenneth Krasnow to fill it. Krasnow will manage the firm’s New York City practice. Erick Collazo is the new director of development for Boca Raton-Fla.-based Woolbright Development. Collazo was group vice president of the U.S. southern region for Arlington, Va.-based Mills Corp. Cornelius, N.C.-based development firm Centurion Partners Raquel Bliss and Sarah Harris as marketing managers. Limited Brands promoted James L. Bersani from senior vice president to executive vice president of real estate. Bersani has been with Limited for 20 years and will replace Barry Kaufman, who is retiring. David R. Levy is the new assistant counsel at CBL & Associates Properties. He was with May Department Stores for more than a decade.
