South Coast Metro, Calif.-based RiverRock Real Estate Group named Sally Vogel managing director of its newly formed retail group. Vogel was a leasing rep for Pan Pacific Retail Properties. • The Wet Seal promoted Gary White to COO from senior vice president of sales and operations. The Foothill Ranch, Calif.-based company also named Dyan Jozwick chief merchandising officer of the 308-store Wet Seal division. Jozwick was senior vice president and general merchandising manager at Robinsons-May. • Kenneth Gillett, SCSM, is the new vice president of property management of The Macerich Co.’s Southern California property group. Gillett was vice president and regional manager of The Mills Corp.’s Western division. Santa Monica, Calif.-based Macerich also expanded the responsibilities of Chris Fracas, vice president of property management for Southern California. Fracas’ new roles include being a third-party management liaison and assisting in development projects, as well as continuing to lead the security and guest services initiatives. • Centennial Properties named Wayne Frost vice president of development and construction of its new Pacific Northwest division. Frost was general manager of the Spokane, Wash.-based property management firm. • David S. Greensfelder was named vice president of acquisitions at Rawson, Blum & Leon, a San Francisco-based development firm. He replaces Tim Noel, who was promoted to vice president of asset management. • Robert J. Walner, senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Oakbrook, Ill.-based Inland Retail Real Estate Trust, was elected president of the Chicago chapter of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals. • Simon Property Group named Susie Battistini area director of strategic mall marketing for three of its properties in south Florida: Dadeland Mall, Miami International Mall and The Shops at Sunset Place. Battistini was marketing director of The Mills Corp.’s Sawgrass Mills. • Howard Miller joined The Sembler Co., St. Petersburg, Fla., as senior director of legal and development. He practiced law at Ruden McClosky Smith Schuster & Russell. • Boca Raton, Fla.-based Woolbright Development named Erick H. Collazo director of development. Collazo was group vice president of The Mills Corp.’s Southern region. • Colliers Lanard & Axilbund, a brokerage firm based in Philadelphia, promoted David Dunkelman to vice president of the retail division. • Lee Anne Klemyk is the new vice president of leasing at Newton, Mass.-based New England Development. Klemyk was vice president of leasing at S.R. Weiner & Associates. • Roy Vice is the new senior vice president of development for Memphis, Tenn.-based development firm Poag & McEwen. • Turnberry Associates named Crystal Petti marketing manager for the development firm’s Jewelers Market, in Aventura, Fla. • Birmingham, Ala.-based Bayer Properties hired Steve Bolger as junior leasing agent. • Orlando, Fla.-based Mainsale Development named J. David Peppers senior vice president of design and construction. He was a private consultant. The development firm also named Mona Deane senior property manager. • Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler named Marc S. Feder as director of the firm’s retail services group. • Deerfield, Ill.-based drug chain Walgreen Co. named Jeffrey A. Rein CEO. Rein will retain his current title of president. A pharmacist by training, Rein joined Walgreens in 1982. • Transcan Development promoted Jeff Adams to executive vice president of development. He was director of projects. • Jay Whitehurst is the new president of National Retail properties, the Orlando, Fla.-based REIT formerly known as Commercial Net Lease Realty. Whitehurst was executive vice president and COO.
