Edward Glickman was promoted to president and COO of Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust from CFO. He succeeds Jonathan B. Weller, who in turn becomes vice chairman responsible for the firm’s long-term corporate strategy. Robert F. McCadden replaces Glickman as CFO of PREIT. McCadden, a former partner at KPMG’s Philadelphia office, holds the additional title of executive vice president. In addition, George F. Rubin, formerly president of PREIT Services and PREIT-Rubin, rises to vice chairman overseeing property development and acquisition initiatives, while Joseph F. Coradino adds Rubin’s former titles to his responsibilities as executive vice president of the retail division.

R. Webber Hudson joined The Related Cos. as executive vice president of Related Urban Development and president and COO of Related Urban Development Advisors. Hudson was president of Urban Retail Properties, a Chicago-based retail third-party manager.

Boston Properties hired Steve Austin as senior property manager for Embarcadero Center, a 350,000-square-foot retail and entertainment center in San Francisco. Austin was director of asset services at the San Francisco office of Los Angeles–based CB Richard Ellis.

Stirling Properties, Covington, La., recruited Lee Sands as a commercial sales and leasing agent and Charles Stewart III as a commercial broker. Sands, who will work in Stirling’s New Orleans office, recently completed studies at the First Professional Real Estate School, Metairie, La. Stewart was a commercial broker for TEC Coldwell Banker, Mandeville, La.

Edens & Avant hired Jason K. Tompkins as vice president of finance and capital markets. Tompkins was vice president of Wachovia Securities’ real estate investment banking group in Richmond, Va.

Mitchell Davis joined DeBartolo Development as senior vice president. He was managing director of A&C Ventures, a Sonoma, Calif., firm that buys single-tenant, net-leased real estate.

Baltimore-based BAA Maryland hired Brian Holtman as a retail operations executive, where he will manage the development of the new retail program for Baltimore/Washington International Airport. Holtman was a communications coordinator at W.C. & A.N. Miller Cos., a Washington, D.C.–based full-service real estate company.

Coyote Management recruited Jet Leonard as vice president of leasing. Leonard was a principal and broker at Woodland Partners, Dallas.

James Gold was promoted to president and CEO of Bergdorf Goodman. He was senior vice president and general merchandise manager at Neiman Marcus Stores, responsible for men’s cosmetics. He joined Bergdorf in 1991.

Gar Herring joined the MG Herring Group, a Dallas-based development firm, as vice president of development. Herring was a development manager at Costa Mesa, Calif.–based Donahue Schriber.
