Developers Diversified Realty appointed John S. Kokinchak, SCSM, CLS, vice president of property management for its lifestyle centers and enclosed malls. He was vice president of property management at Scranton, Pa.-based Prizm Asset Management.

 

The Festival Cos., a Los Angeles development firm, hired Carol Scott, CSM, as general manager of Buena Park (Calif.) Downtown, a retail and entertainment center. She was general manager at Festival’s Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza and at Puente Hills East, which is owned by Santa Ana, Calif.-based Passco Real Estate Enterprises. Festival also hired Mary Larkin as marketing director. Larkin joins from Simon Property Group’s Irving Mall, a Dallas super-regional, where she held the same post.

 

Poag & McEwen, Memphis, Tenn., named Elizabeth Paige general manager of The Shops at Evergreen Walk, a lifestyle center in South Windsor, Conn. Paige was marketing director at Taubman Centers’ Westfarms, a super-regional that straddles the Connecticut cities of Farmington and West Hartford.

 

Coyote Management named Gary C. Ogzewalla, CSM, general manager of Crossroads Center, Waterloo, Iowa. He was general manager at Copaken White & Blitt, a Leawood, Kan., commercial real estate development firm.

 

Forest City California, a unit of Cleveland-based Forest City Enterprises, hired Melina Gomez as marketing coordinator for Victoria Gardens, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. Gomez held the same job at General Growth Properties’ Moreno Valley (Calif.) Mall at Towngate. Meanwhile, Forest City Enterprises appointed Scott A. Muelrath general manager of the Galleria at Sunset, in Henderson, Nev. Muelrath was a commercial property manager at Great American Capital, a Las Vegas-based real estate development firm.

 

Brian Wolfe, of Birmingham, Ala.-based Bayer Properties, adds the title of project planner to that of development coordinator.

 

The Macerich Co. promoted Terry Gibbons to senior manager of development and leasing, overseeing its Westcor subsidiary’s peripheral properties. Gibbons, who joined Westcor in 2003, was manager of development and leasing.

 

General Growth Properties promoted James M. Fuson Jr. to general manager of the Moreno Valley (Calif.) Mall at Towngate. He was operations manager for both Moreno Valley Mall and the Galleria at Tyler.

 

Robert M. Huff joined Washington, D.C.-based Combined Properties as director of East Coast acquisitions. He was vice president of acquisitions at Wells Capital, a Norcross, Ga.-based real estate investment firm. In addition, Combined Properties promoted Gregory Hoxworth to president of national operations and acquisitions from president of West Coast development, while Alexis S.C. Iszard rose to executive vice president and general counsel from senior vice president and general counsel.

 

Wilson Meany Sullivan, a San Francisco-based real estate management firm, hired Karen Braun as senior property manager of Park Place at Bay Meadows, San Mateo, Calif. Park Place is a mixed-use project owned by the San Mateo-based Bay Meadows Land Co. Braun was property manager of an office building that Wilson Meany managed in downtown San Francisco.

 

Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse, a Baltimore-based development and property management firm that specializes in historic preservation, appointed Eric Jones director of marketing. He was assistant vice president of marketing.

 

Patrick J. Walsh joined Baltimore-based BAA Maryland as a vice president. He will oversee the development of a new retail complex at Baltimore/Washington International Airport. Walsh was an asset manager at The Rouse Co.

 

San Francisco-based Moor + South/Pier Management Co. recruited Dennis Murphy as partnership marketing sales manager for Pier 39, a retail and entertainment center in San Francisco. Murphy was a sales manager for the Denver Broncos Football Club.

 

Omaha, Neb.-based developer Noddle Cos. hired Mark Ringsdorf as senior property manager. He was a senior property manager at Grubb/Ellis Pacific Realty.

 

Joseph Harbert joined New York City-based Cushman & Wakefield as COO of the New York metro region. Harbert was vice chairman and general manager of the New York City offices of CB Richard Ellis and COO of Insignia/ESG’s New York metro region. In addition, Cushman promoted Richard W. Latella from managing director to senior managing director. Latella has been with the firm since 1983.

 

David M. Caplan joined Next Realty as a senior broker. He was a broker associate at Skokie, Ill.-based Terraco, where he worked on retail and residential site acquisitions.

 

Paul B. Robertson joined Chicago-based ORIX Real Estate Equities as vice president of its development group. He was a senior director at Highland Park, Ill.-based AEG Partners.

 

Nina L. Kampler joined Hilco Real Estate, a Northbrook, Ill.-based commercial real estate appraisal and disposition firm, as executive vice president of strategic retail solutions. She comes aboard from Polo Ralph Lauren, where she was a vice president and the retail and real estate counsel.

 

Newport Beach, Calif.-based Hopkins Real Estate Group named Sharon Courtway, CLS, director of leasing. Courtway joins the firm from The Festival Cos., where she was a leasing executive overseeing such projects as Costa Mesa (Calif.) Courtyards and Buena Park (Calif.) Place. The company also appointed Edward C. Bach development manager. He was director of real estate at GVD Commercial Properties, an Orange, Calif., real estate services firm.

 

Josh Burrows joined Cubellis Associates, a Boston-based construction, architecture and design services firm, as vice president of its chain retail market sector. He was vice president of sourcing at Braintree, Mass.-based Braintree Sourcing.
